Shane Bond named among New Zealand reserve players!

The New Zealand cricket team decided to surprise the cricket world when they included their former fast bowler and current bowling coach Shane Bond among their reserve players for the fifth One-Day International (ODI) against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi on Friday.

As reported by Cricketcountry.com, New Zealand brought in Anton Devcich and Nathan McCullum in place of Corey Anderson and Daniel Vettori. With several of their players rested, New Zealand had to name their bowling coach among the reserve players.

The five-match series is currently level 2-2 after New Zealand won a thriller on Wednesday. A series victory will be a boost for the winners ahead of the World Cup. The two sides had earlier played a three-Test series and a two-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, both of which ended in a 1-1 draw.
