Former Indian Premier League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi on Tuesday challenged N Srinivasan, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President in exile, for a face-to-face confrontation regarding the betting and the IPL spot-fixing scandal.

In an interview conducted by Times Now, Modi demanded strict action against the erstwhile BCCI chief. He also blamed Srinivasan for ill happenings going on in the BCCI and the Indian cricket.

“N Srinivasan is guilty of the ill happenings and cannot hold any position in the BCCI,” said Modi.

Modi claimed that the whole system created by Srinivasan in Indian cricket needs to be cleaned.

“Srinivasan, fixers and mafia are the common enemy. I want to clean up the cricket in India by removing them and want to make Indian cricket mafia-free,” Modi added.
