Virat Kohli appeals to fans: “Support Team India for the Sri Lanka tour”

Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli is all set for another assignment as he leads his young bunch to a three match Test series against Sri Lanka in their own den next month.

Indian cricket isn’t going through the greatest of phases with two Indian Premier League (IPL) team’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) being suspended from participating in the any cricket activities for a span of two years for their owner’s involvement in illegal betting.

The infamous incident might have affected the game’s credibility and it’s crucial to restore the same. In the above video, which was posted on Twitter by BCCI, Kohli is appealing to the fans to support the Indian team in the Sri Lankan tour. He also mentioned that they can follow the team on BCCI.tv.

Kohli’s plea to play the second unofficial Test against Australia A has been granted by the selection committee. He made this request in a bid to get some practice ahead of the tour.
