A galaxy of former West Indies cricketers converged upon Fort Lauderdale, Flordia, for an exhibition cricket game at Central Broward Park on Sunday.

Some of those icons evoking nostalgia were Garry Sobers, Wes Hall, Alvin Kallicharran, Clive Lloyd, Brian Lara, Gordon Greenidge, and Lawrence Rowe. The event was organised by Rowe’s foundation and A-Class Events. The Lawrence Rowe Legendary Cricket Foundation provides support to local children who have fallen behind academically.

The legends took on a USA Cavaliers XI in a 30-over game. The Legends’ was led by former West Indies captain Lara and include stars such as Gordon Greenidge, Larry Gomes, Gus Logie, Courtney Walsh, Collis King, Colin Croft, Nixon Mclean, Wavell Hinds, Mervyn Dillon and Daren Ganga.
