When Sachin Tendulkar was removed as the Indian captain

In his 24-year long career, Sachin Tendulkar achieved all the batting records one could dream of. His dream was fulfilled when he won his first World Cup in 2011. However, Tendulkar’s first stint as captain from August 1996 to December 1997 wasn’t as memorable and he was dropped as skipper of the team.
