Not in the Indian team for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Yuvraj Singh has been selected to represent Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in the Emirates Twenty20 (T20) tournament in Dubai. The tournament features four teams namely MCC, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Sussex. Yuvraj joins the likes of Alastair Cook, Nick Compton, Michael Carberry in the tournament slated for March 20, 2015.<p></p><p></p>'I am very excited about being part of the squad for this tournament, and I'd like to thank MCC for offering me the chance to play out in Dubai again. There are some great players in the squad so we stand a good chance of winning the competition. I've got fond memories of playing against MCC in the Lord's Bicentenary match last year and I'm delighted to be involved with the club again', said Yuvraj to <em>England Cricket Board (ECB).</em><p></p><p></p>After getting Yuvraj in the team, John Stephenson, MCC Head of Cricket said, 'I'm very happy to have secured Yuvraj for this tournament, with the help of Sport Arabia Worldwide. His record speaks for itself and the fact that he has agreed to be involved speaks volumes for the competition's status in cricket. I'm sure he will provide plenty of entertainment for the crowd and I'm looking forward to seeing him in MCC colours."<p></p><p></p>Lancashire will play Yorkshire to start the tournament before MCC take on Sussex in the afternoon's second semi-final. The final will then take place that evening on March 20. The Emirates T20 tournament is a curtain-raiser to the annual pink-ball Champion County match, which will see MCC play Yorkshire in a four-day contest from March 22.
