His wife Candice on the occasion of Father’s Day in Australia wished the left-hander. The first Sunday of September is celebrated as Father’s Day Down Under. Candice wrote, “Happy first Father’s Day to my beautiful husband and Ivy’s incredible Dad @davidwarner31. You are our little angel’s best friend and hero. She will find her prince one day but you will always be her King. If Ivy could talk she would say. ‘Love you Dadda’. (sic)”

Warner fractured his thumb on Saturday during the 2nd One-Day International (ODI) between England and Australia at Lord’s and has been ruled out of the remainder of England’s tour.
