Cricket Australia Twitter changes Twitter display to Phil Hughes’ Test number ‘408’

In yet another touching tribute to Phil Hughes, Cricket Australia on Sunday changed its Twitter display picture to Phil Hughes’ Australian Test cap number.

The Twitter account has also asked the followers to do so in an attempt to honour the Australian opener, who lost his life on November 27, after being hit by a short ball in a domestic match two days prior.

Cricket Australia also named him the 13th man of the national squad for the opening Test in Adelaide against India and has also promised a range of tributes in order to honour the memory of the cricketer, who passed away three days short of his 26th birthday.

Starting Tuesday, Adelaide is set to host one of the most emotional matches ever played.
