Cricket fraternity, twitterati hail MS Dhoni for his last over heroics against Kings XI Punjab

The last match for Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Visakhapatnam proved out to be one of the most exciting games of this 2016 edition of Indian Premier League. The match began with Murali Vijay and Gurkeerat Singh’s belligerent half-centuries but as it came towards the end, it was all about MS Dhoni.

After posting a good total of 172 on board, RPS didn’t have a good start as they were five down at the score of 86 and from there on, skipper Dhoni crafted the innings in his own style and led his side towards victory. Despite being a dead rubber for both the teams, this game ended in a quite better way than it was expected as it went till the last ball when six runs were needed to win the game. Dhoni executed it against a fuller delivery by Axar Patel. With this win, RPS manage to register their fourth win of the tournament and got the seventh spot in the Points Table. With Dhoni finishing off this game in style, cricket fraternity and twitterati went berserk and started hailing Dhoni for this exciting thriller game.
