Cricketers wish followers Mahashivratri on social media

Maha Shivratri is a day when Lord Shiva was married to goddess Parvati. According to the Hindu calendar the festival is celebrated on the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi. This day is also known as Lord Shiva’s favourite day and also it was the same night when Lord Shiva performed Tandava.

One the day of this important Hindu festival, several Indian cricketers took the medium of social media to wish India Mahashivratri. Indian cricketers in Australia are playing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and they got off to a good start beating Pakistan in the first match.
