It is November and as it has been for past few years, the Movember campaign is making news around the world, especially in Australia, the country of its origin. Also known as No-Shave November, Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches and beards during the month of November to raise awareness regarding various diseases for men, such as prostate cancer.

The campaign has been well backed by the Australian cricketers, who usually grow their beards and moustaches in the month of November. The moustache has a long association with Australian cricket, with some of the game’s legends sporting a moustache all through their career. Merv Hughes is one of the most famous of those cricketers, who is remembered for the same.
