Gear up to watch Brett Lee and Tannishtha Chatterjee’s sizzling on-screen chemistry in ‘Unindian’

Add Cricket Country as a Preferred Source

Over the years, he has played a lot of international cricket and Indian Premier League (IPL) matches and made great friends in India. Also a musician by passion, Lee has even recorded a single with legendary singer Asha Bhosle and even acted in it. Having played for their franchises, he shares a great camaraderie with Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta as well. His fans will soon get to him sizzle on-screen in a movie titled ‘Unindian’, which opens in cinema houses on August 19. He is playing the male lead in the movie in which he is paired opposite Indian actress Tannishtha Chatterjee. The two have reportedly shared a sizzling chemistry in the movie and have done some passionate and intimate scenes, which have come under Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) scanner. The CBFC has raised objection over a love scene between the two in the movie and have asked the makers to reduce its length. “Whatever happens [referring to objection over love scene by CBFC], you will see that beautiful and passionate chemistry between us [me and Tannishtha],” Brett was quoted as saying by PTI. “We have Indian producer and director who made the film, my co-actress is Indian and there are lot of people who worked on the film are Indian, so I will leave upto them to take a call if they [Censor Board] are doing the right thing or not,” he said.

Movie’s helmer Anupam Sharma has meanwhile commented on the matter saying, “They [Censor Board] have asked to reduce love making scene upto 40 to 50 seconds. It’s one minute two seconds scene (and) they have asked to reduce it by half. They are here to certify,” he said. “It is sad that we have to face this issue [despite] no vulgarity or abuse or violence or nudity. We will make appeal [and] there is no option,” Sharma added. If all goes well, the Indian cine and cricket lovers will get to see an uncut version of the movie in theatres from August 19.
