It has been an exciting couple of weeks for Harbhajan Singh. First winning the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and then staging a Test comeback. Now the veteran off-spinner has been selected in the national One-Day International (ODI) side after a gap of four years. Harbhajan will lead India’s spin department in the upcoming series against Zimbabwe.

Expectedly excited, Harbhajan expressed his delight of being able wear the blue jersey again and posted an image on Instagram. He also wrote:  “Can’t tell how happy I am that I will be wearing this blue jersey again. I don’t know anything apart from playing cricket. This is all I have done in my life and I am happy that I can again try and give my all for India.”

Harbhajan also happens to be the most senior member of the Ajinkya Rahane-led Indian side that will tour Zimbabwe.
