Sri Lankan all-rounder Tillakaratne Dilshan’s scintillating international career saw curtains falling down when the manic top-order batsman retired from international cricket after the third One-Day International against Australia at Dambulla on Sunday. Dilshan is inarguably one of the greatest to have graced the gentlemen’s game in limited-overs. He batted at numerous positions, bowled off-spin, kept wickets and was a livewire on the field. He featured in 330 ODIs for Sri Lanka, in which, he had 10290 runs at 39.27. He earned 106 wickets with his wily spin and has retired as the 11th highest run-scorer of all time in ODIs.
