ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: When Rohit Sharma’s six featured in a ‘selfie’!

During India’s second warm-up match against Afghanistan, Rohit Sharma hit a six over deep cover which sailed into the stands where a spectator and his friend picked up the ball and took a selfie with it.

During India’s second warm-up match against Afghanistan, Rohit Sharma hit a six over deep cover which sailed into the stands where a spectator and his friend picked up the ball and took a selfie with it, which went viral on social media. Suresh Raina laughed when the replay of the moment on the big screen at the Adelaide, Oval.

Batting first, India scored a huge total of 364 for five wickets with a blistering knock of 150 runs from just 122 deliveries. He was aided by Suresh Raina knock of 75 runs of 71 balls and then Ajinkya Rahane finished off the innings scoring 88 runs in just 61 balls.

In response, Afghanistan managed to score 211 for eight wickets in 50 overs. India plays their first match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 against Pakistan on Sunday.

The photo has become a social media sensation with ICC Twitter handle tweeting it as World’s first ‘Six for Selfie’.
