The ongoing One-Day International (ODI) series between Sri Lanka and Australia saw many red-hot moments between both the teams on the field. During the second ODI, Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera got the better of Australian southpaw David Warner after which his provocative actions attracted enormous attention on the field. ICC has fined 15 percent of Perera’s match fees for such behaviour.
Australian pacer Mitchell Starc has also been reprimanded by the ICC for intentionally in the direction of Dinesh Chandimal while the latter was batting. Chandimal didn’t have any intention to run and was inside the batting crease. Starc and Perera accepted their fault and also the verdict by ICC.
