Indian Premier League 2015 Schedule: Complete Squads, Fixtures and Time Table

Cricket’s mega-event ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 saw a grand closure and now it’s time for Twenty20, as the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starts from Wednesday. The cash-rich league will continue till May 24.

 

The eighth edition of the IPL will be played in 12 venues. The venues are Kolkata, Mumbai (Brabourne and Wakhede stadium), Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Mohali and Raipur.

 

The eight franchises to participate in this upcoming edition of IPL are: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians (MI), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Daredevils (DD).

 

The tournament will see defending champions KKR take on MI in the inaugural match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata while runners-up of previous edition KXIP take on RR in Pune on April 10.
