Delhi Daredevils (DD) takes on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Sunday. Both the teams have won their previous encounters and are coming into this tie with full of confidence.
For DD, their batting good looks solid. The investment on Shreyas Iyer has paid quite magnificently so far. He along with Mayank Agarwal have performed brilliantly so far. The middle-order also looks solid with JP Duminy, Angelo Mathews and Yuvraj Singh. Kedar Jadhav adds more strength in the batting order.
The bowling department has been decent with Nathan Coulter-Nile spearheading the pace attack. Dominic Joseph has aided him well. It has been the spin twins of Amit Mishra and Imran Tahir, who have done a superb job for the team.
On the other hand, RCB completed a comprehensive win over Rajasthan Royals (RR). The brightest part of the win was Virat Kohli coming into form and scoring runs. The RCB side is known for the batting power and the responsibility for big score lies on Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers.
With Mitchell Starc’s arrival, the bowling has been stabilised. They have Harshal Patel and David Wiese, who have bowled well. The spin of Yuzvendra Chahal has been consistent and credit goes to him. It will be an evenly matched contest. With the match being played at Delhi, expect a run fest. We present you with the pick of the tweets.
