IPL 2015: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Rajasthan Royals at Kolkata, pick of the tweets

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) play against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Eden Gardens on Sunday. Both the sides are coming from a defeat and would want to return to winning ways.

For KKR, they lost the previous game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). David Warner tore apart the bowlers thick and thin, giving Gautam Gambhir and his team a nightmare. The bowling looked weak for the first time with talismanic spinner Sunil Narine completely out of sorts. Narine was again reported for suspect action but it is not sure if he will play against the Royals or not. Umesh Yadav leaked a plenty in the death overs while Morne Morkel picked up two wickets though went for some runs.

In the batting area, Gambhir had a rare failure. Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey looked good but failed to take the match home. Otherwise, the batting has been strong with Suryakumar Yadav, Yusuf Pathan and Andre Russell in the ranks. Yusuf, who has had decent outings so far, will like to forget the dismal outing against SRH where he couldn’t pull it off.

RR on the other hand were given brakes from Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB). Orange Cap holder Ajinkya Rahane again started well but his dismissal saw the RR team falling like a pack of cards. The batting looks strong with Shane Watson, Steve Smith, Deepak Hooda and Stuart Binny. It is high time for Karun Nair and Sanju Samson to perform and if they start performing, RR are a team to beat.

In the bowling department, Chris Morris is proving to be a superb buy, with the tall South African providing consistent bowling performances. Watson, after returning has also bowled well with Pravin Tambe their trump card. James Faulkner is not finding the perfect rhythm and has been expensive.

The two sides are well balanced and one can surely expect a great game. Enjoy the pick of the tweets.
