IPL 2015: MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva makes her stadium debut

Little ‘Ziva’ brought lots of luck to daddy MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by a comfortable margin of 27 runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday.

It was Ziva’s first visit to a stadium and it was special as her daddy’s team CSK, who had lost their previous encounter to Rajasthan Royals, turned it around and pulled off an empathic win. Dhoni ensures even during the gruelling Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule, he makes it a point to spend as much time as possible with his daughter, whose birth he missed, as he was on national duty.

In one of the recent events, the Indian One-Day International (ODI) skipper was quoted as saying, “When she was born I was not in India, had not seen her. It was a tough period.” he said.

After the win, Dhoni brought the little one to the CSK dressing room and tweeted a picture of him bonding with her. It was a nice gesture by Dhoni and his fans around the world loved it.

Earlier in the day, Ziva was spotted with her mother, Sakshi, as they cheered for the men in yellow who didn’t disappoint.
