IPL 2015: Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab at Mumbai, pick of the tweets

Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the seventh match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Mumbai on Sunday. This will be the second game for both the teams, with MI losing their opener against reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and KXIP bowing out to Rajasthan Royals (RR).

MI skipper Rohit Sharma blossomed yet again at Eden Gardens, which is supposed to be his favourite stadium. Though Rohit and Corey Anderson managed to put a respectable total, they lost the match. The spin twins of Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha failed miserably, which contributed to the reason for team. Apart from the spinners, Lasith ‘Slinga’ Malinga also had an off-day while Vinay Kumar was decent but his spell couldn’t do wonders.

Meanwhile, KXIP also had the similar sort of problems which MI had in their opening game. The batting reshuffling during the chase proved costly for KXIP, which skipper George Bailey accredited post-match. Sehwag couldn’t even get off the mark while his new opening partner Murali Vijay looked in song. The team would want Glenn Maxwell and David Miller (MM) factor to fire the cylinders.

KIXIP’s bowling was good with Anureet Singh and Sandeep Sharma dead accurate. The spin duo of Axar Patel and Karanveer Singh were off-colours while pace ace Mitchell Johnson fared well and picked up two crucial wickets.

MI will hold the advantage, given the fact that the match will be in their den. But KXIP, who were runners-up in the previous edition, have plenty of firepower in their kitty to pull it off in their favour.
