IPL 2015: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians at Bangalore, pick of the tweets

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 16th match of the the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore on Sunday. Both the teams are coming from a defeat and would want to start afresh with winning ways.

For RCB, their hopes remain on the batting. With the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, the red brigade forms a formidable top three. Dinesh Karthik stabilises the middle-order but is yet to fire. Even skipper Kohli needs to get back in form. Darren Sammy hasn’t contributed and will have to perform. It will be interesting to see if he retains his place or not.

The bowling again looks to be a weakling and that emerged out in the second game they played, against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Harshal Patel has bowled well and so has Abu Nechim. Sean Abbott was expensive in his two outings and will be replaced with Adam Milne, if he becomes fit. The return of Mitchell Starc will be a big boost for their bowling.

MI so far have been the most disappointing side in the IPL this season. They are yet to win a game and the batting order needs to be sorted. The top order failed again but Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard saved their blushes. The bright point from their last game is that Pollard has returned to form with back to back fifties.

The bowling department has to go a complete overhaul after the previous humiliating defeat. Lasith Malinga lacks sting and looks like has become a liability for the team. Pacers like Mitchell Mcleneghan and Marchant de Lange need to be given a chance. Harbhajan Singh has bowled well in patches and Jagdish Suchith, who leaked runs against CSK the other night, will have to support the senior off-spinner.

RCB, at their fort, are the clear favourites in this game and MI have to produce something extra-ordinary to win this game. We present you with the pick of the tweets.
