IPL 2015: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders at Vishakhapatnam, pick of the tweets

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) play against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. Both the sides played their previous match against Delhi Daredevils, while KKR won the game, SRH lost it despite of coming agonisingly close.

SRH have been inconsistent so far, with a solitary victory in four games. The squad comprises of match winners like skipper David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravi Bopara, Kane Williamson and Dale Steyn. Yet, they have won only once and their batters have often been found wanting. The responsibilities lie with the opening pair of Warner and Dhawan. The middle-order is good but has underperformed. Bopara has been the standout performer whereas Eoin Morgan is still unable to strike form.

The bowling also has been a major concern with Dale Steyn to spearhead the dreaded pace attack. The management could have looked to play Steyn and Trent Boult together. Karn Sharma has been the pick of the bowlers while Bopara has been a utility all-rounder.

KKR on the other hand are full of confidence after DD’s triumph. Skipper Gautam Gambhir is leading from the front with three fifties so far. It is high time for Karnataka duo Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey to start getting runs. Yusuf Pathan has also looked good in the last two games. He has looked to spend more time in the middle and that’s a dangerous sign.

The bowling has been quite good for the team, especially the seamers doing the job well. A feature of Umesh Yadav’s bowling has been his ability to bowl yorkers at good pace. Morne Morkel has supported him quite well. Piyush Chawla has also done a decent job. Sunil Narine is now among wickets and it’s a matter of time he gets back to best.
