The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a fiercely competitive tournament. The T20 extravaganza that attracts sheer talent from world over showcases quality cricket being played by the best in the business. However, the ‘only four overseas players per IPL team’ rule forces some serious talent to sit on the bench.
The most prominent victim of this rule is South African speedster Dale Steyn. One of world’s fastest and best bowlers, Steyn has failed so far to find a permanent place in his IPL franchise Gujarat Lions (GL). He has been making most of his spare time in India by traveling places. Recently, he poked fun at his friend and colleague Morne Morkel, who too is in the country to represent Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL.
Steyn took to Twitter to post a picture of Morkel and take a dig at the latter. The image came along the caption: “How times have changed. There was a time this man would return with a pizza, but now it’s nappies! @mornemorkel65”.

Though Morkel did not reply to the tweet, his spouse Roz Kelly gave a witty reply to Steyn through her tweet:
@DaleSteyn62 @mornemorkel65 looking for a babysitter if you want to earn some extra pocket money?

Steyn, who has been warming the GL benches so far, took it sportingly and came back with this tweet:
@Roz_Kelly @mornemorkel65 I have @BrettSoulman here, basically been babysitting for the last 2 weeks already #pro bring it on!

Morkel chose to stay away from the friendly banter. He himself has at times struggled to make it to the KKR playing XI. Both Steyn and Morkel may not be South Africa’s preferred weapons in T20s, but come Test cricket, and the two shall be up and running, tearing apart opposition at will.
