IPL 2016, Match 31, Pick of the tweets: Gujarat Lions vs Delhi Daredevils at Rajkot
Their last encounter was the closest finish this Indian Premier League (IPL). Gujarat Lions (GL) roared to one-run win over Delhi Daredevils (DD). Chris Morris played a blinder for Delhi and almost won them the game from a seemingly impossible position. Both the sides have played well in this tournament. While the Suresh Raina-led Gujarat side are the table toppers, the Zaheer Khan-led Delhi side have won four and lost two this season.
DD have won the toss and elected to bowl. In a very bold decision, they have decided to leave out their previous game’s Man-of-the-Match Carlos Brathwaite. JP Duminy comes in and also Shahbaz Nadeem comes in place of the out of form Shreyas Iyer. Gujarat’s batting, which has been the best in the tournament, had an off day on Sunday but it received a fresh dose of boost with the inclusion of Aaron Finch. However, a big blow comes along with it. Dwayne Bravo is out due to a mis-timed injury.
