West Indian mystery spinner Sunil Narine, who has been one of the most successful players in the Indian Premier (IPL) and has been instrumental in Kolkata Knight Ridersâ (KKR) success, had to be omitted from the Champions League Twenty20Â (CLT20) final last year after his action was found illegal. There were several cries of foul and many raised eyebrows, and of course the decision didnât help KKR, as they lost the final to Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Finally a much needed relief for the Indian Premier League (IPL) defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as the tension hovering over Narineâs participation in the tournament has finally ended as the BCCI sub-committee dealing with suspect bowling actions gave the Trinidadian a clean chit on Sunday.

As reported by IANS, Narine gave a test at the ICC accredited Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) in Chennai. KKR take on Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Wednesday.
