Australia recorded a seven-wicket win over New Zealand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) to lift the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015; it was their fifth World title. After the win, there were celebrations all over Australia as the match turned out to be a one-sided affair.

English cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who is eyeing a return to the England international fold, took out time to enjoy with his Ashes rivals. Pietersen was present in Australia as a part of a broadcast team for his commentary role. During the celebrations, Pietersen uploaded a picture with his social media ‘hunny bunny’ James Faulkner.

The 34-year old is often seen poking fun at Faulkner using different methods in the social media. Prior the finale against New Zealand, he had wished Faulkner by posting a picture of horse on Twitter which actually referred to the Australian all-rounder.

This time though, he refrained from trolling his Melbourne Stars teammate and was decent enough to upload their photograph in a gala mood. James Faulkner was awarded the man-of-the-match award for his outstanding bowling in the final.
