Sri Lanka s top seafood restaurant, Ministry of Crab (MoC), is set to be unveiled in Mumbai next month with co-owners Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene expected to be present.

A popular eatery in Sri Lanka s capital of Colombo, Ministry of Crab has attracted travellers and touring cricket teams since it opened its doors in 2011. Now, Mumbaikars will get the chance to taste the restaurant s assortment of seafood dishes crafted by award-winning chef and co-owner, Dharshan Munidasa.

The tentative date of launching the seafood restaurant in Mumbai s Western suburb (Khar West) is on February 14 and the work at the site is in full swing, a source was quoted as telling Sri Lanka s Daily Mirror. Both Sangakkara and Jayawardene are overseas but will certainly spare time to come over on the day of opening.

The Japan-born celebrity chef Munidasa is a self-taught culinary expert and will spend few days in Mumbai before the launching of the MoC outlet which has been designed by interior design firm-transform Projects (Pvt) Limited.
