The offspinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz has outdone his previous best performance to record the best bowling figures in a Test match for Bangladesh who on Sunday hammered West Indies by an innings and 184 runs at Mirpur.

In spinning the hosts to their biggest Test victory ever, and with it the series 2-0, Mehidy surpassed the 12/159 he claimed in his debut series against England in 2016 when he bowled Bangladesh to a famous win at this same venue.
