India will take one Sri Lanka in their second Twenty20 International (T20I) encounter at Ranchi and will eye for a comeback in the decisive second clash of the three-match series. Before the start of the series one could have crystal glazed and saw India winning the first game after whitewashing formidable Australia in their own den but it was not to be.
India endured a massive defeat on the green track at Pune as the star studded batting line-up was dismantled for a mere score of 101 runs. India are without the elite services of their man in form Virat Kohli and have a tough job in hand. If they lose this game they will surrender the series.
It’s a crucial game for the hosts and have to return from the dead as the damage inflicted Sri Lanka was enormous. Sri Lanka are playing to their full strength and the tournament is a build for both the teams as they make way for the World T20 next month.
