What followed his death were extremely emotional scenes and Clarke broke down multiple times while talking of his friend. The number was Hughes’ Baggy Green number. Since then, Clarke has sported a black band with Hughes’ number imprinted in it. It even happens to be the case in his last Test that is currently playing at The Oval.

He was dismissed for 15 and the time was eight minutes past 4pm. The time read, 4:08. [Also Read: Michael Clarke: 10 statistics that dazzle in his fabulous career]
Clarke’s wife, Kyly, posted a picture on Instagram which captured the moment of a dejected Clarke dismissed at that time and wrote, “Wow #408 #PJH Some things are meant to be. (sic)”
