Michael Clarke hails MS Dhoni as one of the nicest cricketers
Australian skipper Michael Clarke hailed MS Dhoni, calling him one of the nicest guys he went up against on Tuesday. Read all stories on MS Dhoni’s Test retirement.
Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket with immediate effect on Tuesday, following the third Test in Melbourne which ended in a draw. Clarke paid the tribute to India’s most successful skipper on his official Twitter.
Clarke pulled himself out of the Australian squad of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2014-15, and is currently recuperating from the surgery he underwent on his injured hamstring after straining it during the first Test against India in Adelaide.
Dhoni’s retirement came in as a shock to the world as well as to the cricket fraternity. He bid adieu to the longest format of the game as India’s most successful captain.
