Mohammad Kaif lends his support towards Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Last year, the PM officially launched the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ campaign at Rajghat, New Delhi, which aimed at cleaning the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modiâs initiatives after coming to power in 2014 has been mostly well recieived, especially from the top celebrities. Last year, the PM officially launched the âSwachh Bharat Abhiyanâ campaign at Rajghat, New Delhi, which aimed at cleaning the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.
The operation was started by Modi, who then nominated nine renowned personalities for taking the campaign ahead. This time, the Indian politician had cricketer Mohammad Kaif for this cleanliness campaign. Modi took to his official Twitter handle and posted pictures of Kaif and school children cleaning the roads and praised them.

 Kaif lent his support to the nationwide cleanliness campaign and saw more than 300 school students join him in the awareness, which is run by Om Foundation in Hoshiyarpur Village. The out-of-sorts Indian cricketer shared invaluable cricketing tips with the students and urged all to maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene.  In a report from Zee News, Kaif said, âSwachh Bharat is a great initiative for the nation and I am honoured to be a part of this campaign. As an athlete fitness is pivotal to my success and I believe cleanliness and basic hygiene plays a crucial role. I would like to help spread the message of cleanliness and hygiene for all and urge everyone to keep their surroundings clean for a fit and healthy life.â  Later, he nominated Parineeti Chopra, Sunidhi Chauhan, Gautam Gambhir, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra ,Umesh Yadav, Danish Mujtaba and Geeta Phogat for continuing the cleanliness mission.  On Friday, Kaif tweeted about the initiative.
