Moises Henriques feels privileged to get his face buried in chocolate cake by VVS Laxman

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) raised a lot of eyebrows when they dropped pace ace Dale Steyn from the playing 11 and played Ravi Bopara. Since few matches, SRH’s tactics have been questioned after the management dropped both Steyn and Trent Boult. But now the tactics are paying off big time as with both – Moises Henriques and Bopara in the middle-order, their batting looks strong and now with a win against Delhi Daredevils (DD) on Saturday, the team from Hyderabad look good to make the play-offs.

Much of the credit for Saturday’s win goes to Moises Henriques, who took the micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a picture of him getting smeared in cake by SRH mentor VVS Laxman and skipper David Warner during post match celebrations. He felt it was an absolute honour to get buried in chocolate cake by the former Test cricketer Laxman.

Henriques played a match winning knock of unbeaten 74 from 46 balls and his took the score to 163. Later, DD lost the match by six runs in a close contest and with this win, SRH have moved an inch closer to play-offs and will play Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Monday.
