MS Dhoni indulges in golf ahead of must-win Australia game

After beating Bangladesh in a nail-biting contest by one run at Bengaluru, the Indian team deserved some time off to unwind. The festival of Holi gave them much needed respite after a taxing game. While the team relaxed at the hotel, skipper MS Dhoni, who was at the centre of things, took to golf to unwind ahead of the must-win game against Australia.

On Friday, the Indian skipper took some time out to play golf along with team-mate Rohit Sharma and team director Ravi Shastri. While their competitor for the virtual quarter-final on Sunday was involved in a match with Pakistan in Mohali, Dhoni and others were playing golf nearly 12 kms away from the stadium at the Chandigarh golf club.

Dhoni, in his golf attire, was aptly dressed for the occasion. He was also sporting blue aviators and was seen holding the golf club in the pictures posted by BCCI’s official Twitter handle. ‘Captain-Cool’ was at his usual self, nonchalant and confident about things ahead of Sunday’s all-important match. The Indian team will take on Australia in a knock-out match at the IS Bindra PCA stadium on Sunday and the winner will make it to the semi-final.
