NFL star Jarryd Hayne is Chris Gayle’s new tutor on “manners on speaking to women in Australia”

So Chris Gayle, who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately, has a tutor who will guide him with treating women with respect. Jarryd Hayne is an Australian American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

Hayne posted a photograph on Instagram of him and Gayle embracing at Coogee Beach in Sydney on Tuesday night and the caption read, “Teaching the bruv some manners on speaking to women in Oz!”, supplementing the post with the hashtags “#goodbloke” and “#2ndchance”.

Gayle was recently fined US$ 7,000 by his Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Melbourne Renegades after a joke during interview turned ugly. He asked reporter Mel McLaughlin out and told her, “don’t blush baby.” The photograph from the NFL star received more than 25,000 likes (as on Wednesday morning). The comments were quite in contrast. A report from the Guardian published some of them. While one user suggested Gayle should have been given “man of the match” for his harassment of McLaughlin, another user suggested that Hayne should “teach him … that some aussie women need to loosen up”. This does show that despite his acts, Gayle has fans backing him. Some did criticise the Jamaican in the comments while many appreciated the fun.
