Virender Sehwag is keeping the digital writers on their toes and editors around India have made it mandatory for them to visit his Twitter account multiple times in a day. From birthday wishes to congratulatory tweets to comments on social issues, Viru Pa has taken tweeting to the next echelon.

The cricket legend, who made fans switch to Hindi commentary during the ICC World T20 2016 thanks to his hilarious insights and trolling of Shoaib Akhtar, has now set sights on being a Twitter legend. Celebrities, especially cricketers must be petrified from now on as their birthday approaches. You just might be consumed by Sehwagism, which is a right mix of wit and absurdity. It is highly unlikely that any homo sapiens has ever been called a “peeled egg” on his or her birthday. But Sehwag honoured former Welsh pacer and renowned commentator Alan Wilkins by that wish, as the left-armer turned 63 on Monday.

It is quite obvious that the 22 in Wilkins’ Twitter id stems from the fact that he was born on August 22 but Sehwag has his logic. Never mind, the fans love it and despite the stress he gives us, we too end up enjoying.
