As expected members of the Indian cricket team were in attendance for the much-talked about Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma’s Mumbai reception. It were India’s new rising stars, Kuldeep Yadav and Manish Pandey, who were the first to attend the grand reception of the year. Soon, Ravindra Jadeja also arrived on the red carpet along with Jasprit Bumrah. Umesh Yadav was next to arrive at the venue along with wife.

Ravichandran Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat were the next to arrive. Sunil Gavaskar came in next with his wife. Next the list of many was dashing opener Virender Sehwag. A lot of wait, the celebrated couple came out much to the cheering of the media. Soon after the couple, India’s most cherished player, MS Dhoni arrived at the scene. Sachin Tendulkar was one of last remaining cricketers to attend the reception. Rohit Sharma shared his excitement with a post on instagram.

Kohli and Anuskha married on December 11, 2017 away from the media glare in a small town in Italy named Tuscany. The pair earlier had a Delhi reception as well that was attended by Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, Finance Minister and former DDCA president, Arun Jaitley and other dignitaries. The reception took place at Delhi s Taj Palace Hotel.

Apart from the various receptions at plush venues, The Hotel Borgo Finocchieto, hosted the couple for a week, that costed them INR 13,54,744 for one day. Mind you, it is the second-most expensive holiday rental venue.
