Preity Zinta: I’m not dating Yuvraj Singh

Link-ups with Bollywood celebrities and celebrated cricketers is not news. Ever since the advent of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, actress Preity Zinta and Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh have been romantically linked, a buzz which got stronger when Yuvraj played for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), a side that Preity co-owns.

With Preity bidding vigorously for Yuvraj at the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction, the rumour mills began to work furiously, yet again. Preity failed to get Yuvraj at the auction as Delhi Daredevils picked him for a whopping Rs 16 crores — a new IPL record.

Irritated with the media and reports of her link-up with Yuvraj, Preity took Twitter to vent out her frustration. Earlier on Thursday, she tweeted in bold letters that ‘she never dated or intended to date Yuvraj’ and requested the media to refrain from writing ‘Yuvraj & Preity are in a relationship.’

Preity, was earlier in a relationship with KXIP co-owner and businessman Ness Wadia — an affair which ended quite messy.
