According to a report published in The Cricketer of July 8, 1922, Ranjitsinhji made a hat-trick of centuries in a match during his Cambridge days.

He made 128 for Cassandra on the second morning of a two-day match against Saffron Walden on Parker’s Piece. He then turned up for the Basinettes — another Cambridge club — and scored 132 on the same day, and rounded off his day’s work with a 150 for another team against Christ’s & Emmanuel on their pitch!

And this was a  man who had accidentally lost his right eye in 1915 in a shooting accident!
