Rohit Sharma to launch cricket comic series

Rohit Sharma is all set to commence his new environmental superhero team in partnership with Graphic India, UK based ISM Komix and Cornerstone Sport.

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma after becoming the co-owner of Pro Wrestling League team UP Warriors is all set to commence his new environmental superhero team called ‘Hyper Tygers’ in partnership with Graphic India, UK based ISM Komix and Cornerstone Sport. The digital comic will be accessible to for free to every reader from next year February onwards through Facebook page and the Graphic POP! Rohit was quoted in a report from PTI saying, “I have been a big fan of the work Graphic India has been doing in the country to create new Indian superheroes. The idea to collaborate with them to launch India’s first cricket based superhero comic made perfect sense.”

Rohit further spoke about the comic series and said, “Hyper Tygers is an action-packed adventure around a futuristic game of cricket unlike anything we have today. As depleting condition of the nature and reducing numbers of the wildlife is one of the most sensitive issues at present, Rohit has stepped up and taken a social cause. The series will focus on these issues and spread awareness with Green Tyger being the mysterious hero who is a masked and defiant cricketer with some super power.

Hyper Tyger and Green Tyger are also looking for sponsors who intend to promote the environmental awareness.
