Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun bowls to England team ahead of Ashes Test at Lord’s

It seems that Arjun Tendulkar is making England his second home, if not then his favourite cricket destination. Almost a month after being clicked with England’s women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt, Arjun, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was now involved in England’s training session ahead of the second Ashes Test at Lord’s. The second Test against Australia begins on Thursday and the home side is currently leading the series 1-0.

The official Twitter account of Lord’s confirmed junior Tendulkar’s presence at the home of cricket.

Arjun, 15, is a left-arm pacer and bats left-handed, and aspires to be a cricketer. He is active in the club circuits in Mumbai and earlier during the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has been seen taking bowling tips from the legendary Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram.

He is accompanying his father on his UK trip. Tendulkar was seen watching the Wimbledon Men’s semi-final between Roger Federer and Andy Murray. In a video, Arjun was seen bowling in the England nets and he surely looks to be an exciting prospect.

Speaking of left-arm bowlers, come Thursday, England will look forward to once again successfully cross the Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc hurdle.
