Sehwag on a wishing spree; now wishes ‘old friends’ Yuvraj, Harbhajan and Nehra ahead of T20Is

Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who is gearing up to lead the Gemini Arabians side in the inaugural season of Masters Champions League (MCL), went on a wishing spree on Monday. The swashbuckling opener first wished old foe turned friend Shoaib Akhtar after the latter underwent a knee surgery.

The next in line were old friends Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Ashish Nehra. Sehwag wished the trio who recently made a stunning comeback to the national team for the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Australia starting Tuesday. He took to his Twitter handle and posted: “Wish @YUVSTRONG12 @harbhajan_singh n Mr Nehra Ji a very good luck for T20 matches.”

Sehwag has played with the three seasoned campaigners for the most part of his career. As a matter of fact, all four of them started their careers around the same time. While Sehwag retired from the game last year, it will be interesting to see how long these three continue to represent India.
