Shane Warne lashes out at John Buchanan over comment on Michael Clarke

Australian Test skipper Michael Clarke stunned the cricketing world by announcing his retirement after losing the fourth Ashes match at Trent Bridge. Cricketers around the world sympathised his decision while some others criticised his captaincy for the dismal show in the Poms. One of th​ose critical was the former Australian coach John Buchanan, who went on to question Clarke’s ‘Baggy Green ethics’.  Buchanan was quoted in News Corp saying, “Players like Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting and others really tried to make the ​Baggy ​G​reen culture something special​,​ but I could sense it was under threat and under Michael’s captaincy I can sense it has disappeared a bit and that disappointed me.’’ [Also Read: John Buchanan joins the party; slams Michael Clarke’s ‘Baggy Green ethics’]
