Sourav Ganguly desires to open the batting in All-Stars series; Sachin Tendulkar responds to that on Twitter

Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly are inarguably the greatest opening pair in One-Day International (ODI) cricket, and the All-Stars series starting this Saturday may very well see the two former Indian cricketers walking out to bat again.

Ganguly, who was practising in the United States, was in a jovial mood and news channel caught up with him post practice session. According to reports from IANS, he is expected to be a part of Sachin’s Blasters and at his cheerful best, the former Indian skipper put his conditions forward, “I have told Sachin, if I don’t open, I will catch the next flight to Kolkata. So that is a criteria for playing.”

Later, Tendulkar responded to Ganguly on Twitter, saying that his application for the position of opener is being processed.
