Sourav Ganguly visits Piku set to meet Amitabh Bachchan

The story of the film is about the relationship of a crazy father-daughter combination, played by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. Irrfan Khan is the other notable actor in the film. He plays the romantic lead opposite of Deepika, Amitabh plays the role of a bhadrolok.

“Piku” is directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film will see the reunion of Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri and Juhi Chaturvedi — the team behind the script of the immensely popular “Vicky Donor”.

The former India skipper Sourav Ganguly and his wife Dona paid visit to Amitabh, who is shooting for the film in Calcutta. The film is set to release in April 2015.
