Steve Smith gets David Warner’s thumbs up

Australia looked a more balanced side prior to Ashes, but somehow England fought fire with fire and tilted the tide in their favour by regaining the Ashes with the victory at Trent Bridge. Australia suffered a tragic blow at Trent Bridge as they were reduced to look like amateur cricketers by English spearhead Stuart Broad. David Warner and Steven Smith played well but failed to get runs in the ‘decisive’ fourth Test. But great players are known for making comeback when they are down in the dumps. Warner posted this picture of the two on his official Instagram account and expressed his glee by saying, “All good to go!! @steve_smith49 gets my thumbs up.”

The Australian media lambasted the poor Australian performance but the duo seems set for the final challenge and will look forward to seek a consolation.
