From the promising youngster, who initially struggled to live-up to his potential to a man touted as Australia’s future captain — Smith has come a long way since his international debut in 2010.

When he burst on to the scene, Smith was seen as this spin-bowling hope. However, as years progressed, he moved up the batting order and is now one of their most reliable batsmen. No surprise! This picture is early evidence of his batting talent.
