Suresh Raina, one Indian cricket’s most eligible bachelor, is getting married. The left-handed batsman, who scored a match-winning hundred against Zimbabwe today, has apparently told his team-mates and a few trusted scribes that he is getting married after India’s ongoing World Cup campaign.Â
Raina apparently told his team-mates that invitations have been sent out, according to a report in ABP News, which went on to add that the wedding is likely to be in his hometown Lucknow, reception at a seven-star hotel and another family function at the Lucknow Badminton Association lawns. Raina was earlier linked actress Shruti Hassan, daughter of the great Kamal Haasan. But both Raina and Shruti denied the reports. A family man, Raina had told Times of India last January, Â “I think six-seven months mein shaadi ho jayegi. [I will get married in 6-7 month]. There’s a lot of pressure from the family now. They’re looking for a girl for me.”
