And it was no secret that when he set foot on Indian soil, he had to catch up on a cricket match. <p></p> <p></p>Watson revealed in a video posted by CSK, that he will be present for the <a href="https://www.cricketcountry.com/tag/tamil-nadu-premier-league">Tamil Nadu Premier League</a> (TNPL 2019) final on August 15 (Thursday) at Chepauk. "Hi CSK fans, it's great to be back here in Chennai," Watson said in the video. <p></p> <p></p>Not many noticed the knee injury Watson, 38, was carrying during the IPL 2019 final between Chennai Super Kings and <a href="https://www.cricketcountry.com/tag/mumbai-indians">Mumbai Indians</a>, but he dominated the narrative once team-mate <a href="https://www.cricketcountry.com/players/harbhajan-singh/news/">Harbhajan Singh</a> posted a photo of Watson's bloodied knee right after the final. <p></p> <p></p><strong>ALSO READ: <a href="https://www.cricketcountry.com/news/ipl-2019-final-shane-watson-batted-with-a-bleeding-leg-to-take-csk-to-the-doorstep-of-victory-harbhajan-singh-shane-watson-instagram-843663">Shane Watson batted with a bleeding leg to take CSK to the doorstep of victory</a></strong> <p></p> <p></p>Watson smashed 80 from just 59 against Mumbai Indians in the final, but was <a href="https://www.cricketcountry.com/news/mi-vs-csk-final-ipl-2019-hyderabad-7-30-pm-live-score-streaming-mi-vs-csk-match-live-cricket-score-online-playing-11-for-today-match-players-list-dream11-team-prediction-squad-and-live-score-842688">unable to take the team</a> past the finish line as he was run out on 80 while trying to steal an extra run in the final over of a tense 150-run chase.
